Walmart: Taking Competitor Coupons?!?!

I cannot believe this! If you got your papers yesterday you should of seen this weeks Walmart sales ad. On the front it states “We’ll match the price of any local competitor’s printed ad or coupon for an identical product. We match competitor’s coupons. And we gladly accept on valid manufacturer’s coupon per item.”My stupid cordless phones are dead (thank you kiddo’s for playing with them and not putting them back on the chargers!) so I can not confirm this for our local stores here in Sumter/Lake county Florida. Angie over at Short on Cents was able to talk to two of her local Walmarts and they did confirm that they will take competitor coupons on exact items and you can stack them with a manufacturer coupon! If anyone is able to call the local Walmarts here please do so and let me know!! If not I’ll be calling them later today.
